This workshop adapts the in-person workshop for situations where virtual training is logistically optimal. We begin with a one-and-a-half-hour virtual session to provide participants with the fundamentals of audience analysis, organization, building a slide deck, and delivery skills. This is followed by individual 50-minute coaching sessions where each participant presents for 10 minutes and receives tailored trainer feedback on content, organization, slides, and delivery.
This option is for individuals looking to enhance their presentation skills. The Presentation Skills Mastery workshop is conducted weekly, one-on-one, over Zoom. The content is broken down into eight 50-minute sessions. Lessons are interactive and tailored.
This training targets situations where you need to adapt an existing presentation. For example, you may have an in-person presentation from a few years ago that you want to adapt to a virtual format. Or perhaps your co-worker handed you slides from a conference that you need to make your own. Or you may need to condense a 3-day workshop into a 1-hour presentation. This training provides tailored support to help you adapt to your new audience and situation. You’ll meet with your trainer over Zoom for five weekly 50-minute sessions to:
Assess the presentation situation and audience, creating a plan for learning, researching, adapting slides, organizing, and practicing
Review the current content and slides, identifying knowledge gaps
Use language to create a cohesive and compelling presentation
Run through the presentation with trainer feedback on content, slides, and delivery
Receive skills training in managing nervousness, speaking without fillers, and using your voice, eye contact, facial expressions, and gestures for maximum impact
